This is the annual pre-Halloween ride out Mines Rd. to the Junction Cafe and back. 50 miles. Starts and ends at the pumpkin patch on Mines Rd. (Better to park on the road pulloffs, not at the patch itself to avoid a ride on dirt.) To get there, take the North Livermore Avenue exit off 580, go south through Livermore about five miles, turn right on Mines Road, go 1.4 miles to Joan's Farm. Hey, if you can't hang...
But yeah, um, make that 50 *miles*. I saw a bobcat on this ride once, and there are coyotes and tarantulas too.
Four of us are heading over from SF.
Nice Scenic Ride Guys...next time I'll bring some lube to quiet the squeaky riders, and not bring valuables I may drop! Wish I would've pick up a pumpkin from the patch.
