Sat Mines Rd ride 50 mph

This is the annual pre-Halloween ride out Mines Rd. to the Junction Cafe and back. 50 miles. Starts and ends at the pumpkin patch on Mines Rd. (Better to park on the road pulloffs, not at the patch itself to avoid a ride on dirt.) To get there, take the North Livermore Avenue exit off 580, go south through Livermore about five miles, turn right on Mines Road, go 1.4 miles to Joan's Farm. Map to the start at http://www.joansfarm.com/. 9:30 start. Jenn: 510-861-6654

Club Revival?!

Revival Ride Update: 9 Touchstone Riders showed up for Saturday's club ride in Fairfax (10/18/08); 6 of them featured here at Biketoberfest. We cut the ride to 40 miles in hopes of getting to the brews sooner than later.

Wanna Climb Some Hills?

http://lowkeyhillclimbs.com/2008/

Senor Rossi sent this to me today and I thought it looked pretty interesting. One could easily make this part of a longer ride, and actually having someone time you is a bonus. It's open to all ability levels.
